Sarasota Dolphin Research Program
The Sarasota Dolphin Research Program is a collaborative initiative focused on conserving small cetaceans, including dolphins, whales, and porpoises. SDRP conducts interdisciplinary studies to examine the biological, behavioral, ecological, and health aspects of bottlenose dolphins. The program provides crucial data to wildlife management agencies, disseminates findings to scientific and public audiences, and develops new research tools that benefit conservation efforts globally.
Cambodian Fisheries Administration (FiA)
The Fisheries Administration (FiA) of Cambodia is the primary government agency responsible for managing and promoting Cambodia’s fisheries sector. Recognizing fisheries as essential to rural livelihoods, food security, and the national economy, FiA works to ensure the sustainable and equitable use of fishery resources. Its efforts are aligned with national goals, aiming to enhance rural incomes, support food security, and foster sustainable development across Cambodia.
SAMAKY Organization
SAMAKY’s mission is to empower communities, especially vulnerable groups such as children, women, people with disabilities, and marginalized populations, to improve their quality of life with dignity. They provides support to individuals, including people living with HIV/AIDS, persons with disabilities, orphans, and indigenous groups, enabling them to access rights and legal services. Through capacity building and advocacy, SAMAKY is patnered with Khmer Ocean Life a NGO based in Kampot that works to research and conserve Cambodia's oceans, with a current focus on monitoring marine megafauna and engaging local communities. A lot of our work involves capacity building, to strengthen research and conservation efforts in Cambodia for years to come.
